MJ, spending all their resource forcing everyone into some sort of happy community that next to nobody wants to partake in.

Why are they so focused on the "social" aspect of it? It seems so ten years ago. It seems like they're going in the exact opposite direction from where their users want it to go.

Midjourney needs to take a long, hard look at its priorities ...

I know this is not the right place, but I would like to see more understanding of image composition. Currently, it's very weak from my perspective. It's hardly possible to input perspectives well, and it takes forever to find a good composition. Efforts should be made to make the program more professional for storyboards and similar uses. Another wish, which might not be shared by everyone, is to remove some of the Safe Filters. This restriction greatly limits storytelling. A simple button to generate private images and another to create public images would suffice for me. I don't understand all these room functions. But David probably isn't reading this anyway.

Many thanks for the recap again! Even if the content is once again somewhat disappointing. I just don't understand where MJ's focus lies. Seriously on these strange rooms that only a small minority - if any - find useful or meaningful? Why the hell are they so obsessed with it? Video and 3D are also completely useless to me, but I can at least understand why many users want that. But there are so many other features that are not in demand but where a lot of energy is put into. What's the point of the leaderboard and micro polls if they keep seting their priorities elsewhere? I mean, it's their platform, so they can decide for themselves - but then they shouldn't keep asking users what they want! I have no desire whatsoever to switch to another platform, having familiarized myself well with MJ and having already paid my subscription for the whole year.... but I'm thinking about switching more and more often.

they should add similar upscaler as Magnific ai. Recently I started using Leaonardo more - I am close to cancell may Midjourney's subscription.

taking a break from MJ until these guys are done tinkering in the lab. the UI and interaction work is super important for them and how they want to scale I know but not insanely engaging for me. the conversation surrounding world simulation though is absolutely tantalizing and I am here for it. =) thanks for the recap!

Agree with most of the comments that they should stop faffing around with rooms and community focus. They asked us to rate ideas and have a leaderboard which they should take a look at. They are still aesthetically the best AI image creator but really need some outside investment so they can push ahead on what their paying customers view as priorities

Wish they would see human anatomy as perfectly normal. Their puritanical obsession with de-sexing women (especially) such that a breast curve is seen as grounds for cloudfare to filter it out or their systems is utterly ridiculous. If ever there was an argument against AI it’s companies like Midjourney policing normal human anatomy. Note I’m not talking about nudity. Looking forward to a start up that will shake the whole sector up with its semi-religious obsession with normal human shape.

3D is the way to go if Midjourney has simulated worlds , that let you can pose in any camera Direction. Like the way Dreams PS5 works

As a Batman fan like yourself, whenever I create a full body image of Batman, even with aspect ratio of 9 x 16 there are several times that MJ shrinks Batman and it looks very un proportional . Do you know why any chance?
